這似乎是2003年EMI剪的。我特別偏愛這支影像：沒有粉飾太平的囈語，卻是再真實不過的，戰火下的浮生群像。它提醒我們在交換禮物、節日盛宴、百貨折扣外，世界的許多角落，許多活在硝煙裡的人正為失去的家園與親人流淚。影像與唱詞的殷切期盼幾乎成為難堪的相對。

親愛的藍儂，我很遺憾。在你寫下這首歌，與洋子走過十一個城市的近四十年後，世界還是沒有一點長進。戰火仍然在各處點燃，歧視、仇恨、藩籬、驕傲、恐懼仍然存在。「愛與和平」只是口號，”Imagine all the people living life in peace”太過浪漫，遙不可及。

第一次到這首歌是Sarah McLachlan在她2006年的聖誕專輯《Wintersong》裡翻唱的版本。旋律和歌詞讓我在聽這首歌的當下大受感動，上網查找後才知道原唱是John Lennon。除了Sarah McLachlan外，也有很多歌手翻唱過這首歌。
